Five years ago, Megan and Preston met at a Memorial Day BBQ hosted by their friends Allain & KC. KC worked with Preston and thought he would be a perfect match for his daughter’s best friend Megan. He was right, and he and Allain volunteered their beautiful home to host the big day. It was so perfect that they were wed in practically the same spot they met each other. Allain and KC were also present for another monumental moment in Megan and Preston’s relationship. While on vacation in Canada, Preston popped the big question by a waterfall at sunset. Later that evening, the musician at the hotel Paul Woida serenaded them. Allain and KC knew he would be the perfect fit to come play at the wedding, so they made arrangements for him to be there to play for the wedding.
Megan and Preston were the picture of happiness throughout the wedding and into the reception. Their friend Gillian led the groomsmen and their friends in their charge to turn the ceremony site into the reception area. While everyone pitched in to make the tables just perfect, Wedding Nature Photography snuck Megan and Preston away for some amazing sunset photos at the park. When they returned, the guests cheered as they entered and officially started the reception. Paul, who had been playing a small concert during the entire cocktail hour, played their first dance song as well. Everything fell perfectly into place as the guests began their dinner.
After some heartfelt toasts, a delicious meal, and a couple of very sentimental parent dances, it was time for everyone to get out on the dance floor. (And when I say everyone, I mean EVERYONE, including grandma in her wheelchair!) The guests partied along side Megan and Preston. In between dancing, they were able to hang out at the bar, lounge around the pool, and just enjoy an ideal Fall evening under the shooting stars. When it was finally time to wrap up the evening, Megan and Preston shared one last slow dance, surrounded by their friends and family. We ended the night on such a high note, as I was packing up and leaving, they brought out a speaker for music and KC stepped behind the bar to keep the party going. I wonder if anyone went to bed last night?
