One month shy of their 10-year anniversary, Lauren and John were married. Their reception was at the beautiful and unique Tustin Ranch Golf Club. The room their reception was held in had a magnificent view of the golf course, which was one of the reasons Lauren and John chose this venue to hold their celebration. They assembled a fantastic team of photographers (from Kevin Le Vu Photography) and Videographers (from Sean Te Cinema). All together, we made the night one Lauren, John, and their guests won’t soon forget.
Immediately after the Grand Entrance and First Dance, Lauren and John’s priest, Father Chris gave the blessing. He also preformed a brief Unity Candle ceremony signifying the new union Lauren and John had made that day. We were running a little behind schedule at this point, so everyone put forth their best ideas to get us back on track. Tustin Ranch adjusted the meal service, and the photographers and videographers got everyone through the table visits and photos in record time! Soon we had everyone up and dancing (and kissing!)
A little while later, Lauren and John did a money dance, and I noticed they had glass jars with “Bride” and “Groom” written on them. Their best man and maid of honor took the jars for the guests to fill with cash. I, of course, had to take this opportunity to turn this into a contest, and those jars filled up quite fast! The “after party” kicked into high gear soon afterwards. I was kind of bummed when we had to end the night, because I was having so much fun with the song requests that were coming my way. But all good things must come to an end but not before we did one final dance. Lauren and John ended the night with “You’re My Best Friend” by Queen and “Young Americans” by David Bowie.
